It is always a pleasure to be invited to photograph a family and it is especially nice to photograph them in their real life surroundings doing what they love.

Kary and I met on Facebook when she commented on some of my equine work, a conversation started and before long I was packing up for Cross Lake! (no one told me it would be 19 degrees for our trail ride or I might have though twice...)
True horse-people that they are Kary and her family own eight beautiful horses! We were able to incorporate them all in different shots as well as some non horsey images with the entire family. I hope you can sense the love and respect this family has for each other, animals and nature in these images.
