What a beautiful Spring day! Kelly & her bridesmaids did have to contend with the wind, but other than that it was perfect weather.

The sessions are photographed in color but most of our clients order everything in black & white. Remember everyone is welcome- grandmas, moms, daughters, sisters, sister-in-laws, best friends: whoever you share a special bond with.

It's All About Expression

This is Maria- you can't tell in black & white but she has the biggest blue eyes! She is a curious baby who watched and took in everything around her (she especially liked the white floor) and had wonderful expressions. Sometimes we want big smiles so bad we forget that its Expression that counts- most of my clients say they want big smiles but it's the expressions that capture their hearts and end up on their walls.

Spring???
Alyssa & Troy wanted a casual outdoor Spring engagement session. So we planned for weather in the 50's, tulips in bloom... and we got SNOW! Welcome to MN, right? The snow was fun though and this is my favorite from their session on Selby Ave. in St. Paul in front of Fleur de Lis (a wonderful florist http://www.fleurdelisfreshflowers.com/).

Rain, Rain Go Away...

Had some fun with baby Owen and his mom in the studio. This was Owen's 8 month old photo shoot and he behaved like a seasoned pro.

What's more fun than chewing rubber?

This is my favorite and Owen & Mom- I love the slightly angelic look on Mom's face contrasted with the devilish glint in Owen's eyes.

Back From Vegas!

Kerri, Melissa and Ruth have left the building... no, we weren't gambling away your deposits :) We were at the annual WPPI (wedding and portrait photographers international) Covention along with 10,000 other photographers from around the world.

It was a blast and we are full of fresh, new ideas and a few new products.
