Album Competition Results

One of the reasons the job of being a wedding photographer is so rewarding is that we get to see our work through to the "end" which means an album. On your wedding day we are shooting with the end result of an album in mind. That is why we photograph little details and grand landscapes. We know how these images will intermix with the rest of your images and come together in your album.

As professional photographers we are proud to be members of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) who sets high standards for all its members. The local chapter is the Twin Cities PPA and every year we love to enter their print and album competition to get valuable feedback and new ideas.

This year was a really cool year for us because Melissa, Kerri and me (Ruth) were all awarded! Melissa's album (below) took second place overall and Ruth's received a Judges Choice Award (my second in two years!).

So while this is all very cool for us what does it mean for you??? Lots! it means that when you hire Happily Happily Ever After you are commissioning an team: not only your lead photographer and assistant photojournalist but also an album design team. 100% of our albums are designed in-house with as much or as little input as you want to give.

Don't let the green grass fool you- it was cold on Emily & Mark's big day! Their traditional wedding was followed by some fun and freezing photos on the Stone Arch bridge in downtown Minneapolis then dinner and dancing in the grand ballroom at the Depot.
